Rose Tavern is a New American restaurant serving a rustic, seasonal menu inspired by the bounty and beauty of the Finger Lakes region. Centered around a wood-fired hearth, Rose Tavern is heralded for embracing local ingredients and classic cooking techniques.
Choose from indoor seating with booths and tables, greenhouse dining, and covered outdoor patio seating, all offering beautiful views of Canandaigua Lake.
Inspired by this family-owned hotel's first family product from their artisan winery, the Richards Wild Irish Rose wine from 1954, the hotel's flagship restaurant is the Rose Tavern, where high-contrast white walls and dark woodwork reflect a modern, yet old New England, feel. Brass accents, pendant lights, and wood floors combined with cozy booths, French doors, and louvered shutters make for an unforgettable atmosphere. The hotel's other restaurant, The Sand Bar, is seasonal and serves up casual food in a timber-beamed, open-air building with sturdy columns, a long dark bar, banquettes, and stone floors reflective of the granite mountains found not too far away.
