Welcome to Mahali Mzuri, Sir Richard Branson’s Kenyan safari camp located in the world-famous Maasai Mara ecosystem and right in the path of the annual Great Migration. The camp sits within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy which covers an area of 13,500 hectares! There are endless opportunities for game viewing, so all you need to do is sit back and let the wildlife come to you.

Anyone who’s been on safari before knows that no two game drives are ever the same! Safaris in Kenya are filled to the brim with exciting wildlife sightings and the abundant animal life in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy is quite simply jaw-dropping.

Our twice-daily game drives unfold all the drama on your doorstep and you’ll be in the hands of our experienced Field Guides with a front-row seat.

Known as one of the seven ‘new’ wonders of the world, the annual Great Migration, or Great Wildebeest Migration to be more accurate, is truly breathtaking.

The wildebeest and accompanying zebra, gazelle, eland, and topi make up the bulk of the migration, but they aren’t the only players. Lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, and other predators take full advantage of the passing buffet and exploit every opportunity in search of a decent meal!

Your tent is your window onto some of the world’s most spectacular scenery. Sleeping up to 24 guests across 12 luxurious tents, each is designed to be your home away from home, with an ensuite bathroom, private deck, and views you won’t want to miss - they’re unlike any you’ve ever experienced. There are even two family-style tents.

Our chefs have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by a variety of cultures, flavors, and spices. Whether dining under the African sky in the open bush, on a deck, or in the dining tent, our menus promise to be exciting, social, and inspirational.

From bush BBQs to champagne picnics and sundowners our team will treat you to a wide selection of African and international menus. All our breads and pastries are baked daily and we love arranging private meals for special occasions.

During a stay at Mahali Mzuri your Guide can take you to visit one of the nearby Maasai villages, just a short drive from camp, to get a flavor of daily life in the Mara, meet the community, and learn more about the local Maasai tribe.
