The eclectic palace was built by the Hungarian Freemasons in the 19th century and turned into the Mystery Hotel Budapest in 2019. As the life of the Freemasons was full of mystique, so is our hotel; shrouded with legends and secrets. It is located in the center of Budapest within walking distance of its main sights, such as the Parliament, the St. Stephens Basilica, and Andrassy Avenue. In our vicinity, there are two different metro stations and other options for public transportation providing easy access for the guests.
The style of the meeting rooms is restrained with classical elegance providing perfection and uniqueness for every event. Entering the hotel’s largest venue under Scottish-styled vaults, the Helikon room – which can be separated into two parts – offers an authentic meeting experience for up to 140 persons. By walking through a secret door, we find ourselves in the Pythagoras room styled by imaginary shapes. This room is easily connectable with the Orpheus room, which has its own wine vault shrouded with some of the best Hungarian and International vintages behind forged gates, just like in the early ages. Arion is located right next to the Helikon room and it is ideal for smaller meetings up to 15 persons providing the highest comfort level imaginable.
Greet the day with a plentiful breakfast buffet and then wind down with a cocktail, snacks, and a spectacular view of the city from the rooftop bar. Whether you want finger foods or a full meal, Mystery Hotel Budapest has a restaurant to satisfy your craving.
